Politician who served as State Secretary for Cultural Affairs (2020). Member of European Parliament (2009-2017). Head of the Austrian Greens. Co-president of the LGBT rights group (Intergroup on LGBT Rights). Former member of National Council of Austria (1999-2009), and first LGBTQ member. Recipient of the Grand Gold Decoration for Services to the Republic of Austria (2009).
