Members of the Political Group LGBTory
LGBTQ individuals who are also political activists have formed official groups within their political parties to advocate for the interests of their specific community. One such organization in the United Kingdom was the group LGBTory.
The LGBTQ political organization of Britain's Conservative Party has gone through several name changes. Originating as the Conservative Group for Homosexual Equality, it subsequently became LGBTory and in 2016 renamed the LGBT+ Conservatives. Accordingly, there are relatively few comprehensive projects which document and showcase the influence of these LGBTQ efforts.
Being Different: 101 Global LGBTQ Individuals Who Changed The World will be an original documentary outlining the contributions that members of the LGBTQ community have made, individually and collectively, to changing the world.
