Film and television actor, friend of Rock Hudson,and life partner was Rock Hudson's personal secretary, Mark Miller. Came out publicly after the Rock Hudson's death in 1986. In 1955, he won a Golden Globe Award for "Most Promising Newcomer. Forced out of Hollywood due to his homosexuality, but became a major hit in German film. Author of several homoerotic books.
