Description

Realist contemporary painter and illustrator, notable particularly for his homoerotic paintings of the male nude. Reader’s Digest commissioned him to paint a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in honour of her sixtieth birthday (1985, now in the National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection).
