Comedian, television host on CBC national television, political satirist.  Noted for his political commentary via rants.  Winner of more than 25 Gemini Awards, principally for comedy, as well as Governor General's Performing Arts Award.  Spokesperson for Walk for Life, an AIDS fundraiser.  Member, Order of Canada (2014), for his charity work and comedic skills.
