Founder, Lambda Indonesia, the first LGBT rights organization in the country, later renamed Gaya Nusantara.  Former lecturer of political science at Airlangga University (1984-2003). Co-founder of the first Journal of sexuality in Indonesia, 'Gandrung' (2010).
