Notable short story collections include 'Hunger' (2001), and books include 'Hunger' (2003, under the name of Ellen Prescott) and 'Weekend' (2016).  Photographer.  Gardener and author of the blog 'You Grow Girl'.  LGBTQ activist who was a litigant in Canada's same-sex marriage case.
