Author of numerous books, plays, and film screenplays.  Notable is the book 'Loaded' (1995), which was made into the film 'Head On'.  His fourth book, 'The Slap' (2009) won the Commonwealth Book Prize.  His book 'Barracuda' (2014) was made into a hit television show.
