Transgender activist and musician who released an EP in 2013 that wowed music listeners and critics as her songs of hope pull the heart strings of listeners.  As a featured performer in shows throughout the midwest, her signature hit 'There Will Come A Day' is a crowd favorite.  Started a website 'Kokumo Media' as a digital quarterly magazine for black trans.  Author of the poetry collection 'Reaquainted With Life' (2016, Lambda Literary Award).
