Poet, literary critic, and producer of operatic works.  Editor of the 'Yale Review' and president of The American Academy of Arts and Letters.  Poet and Adjunct Professor, Yale University.  Books of poetry include 'Scenes From Another Life' (1981) and 'Plundered Hearts' (2014).  Operatic work includes original librettos for 'Miss Lonelyhearts,' 'Orpheus Descending,' and 'Dolores Claiborne'.  Also known as Sandy McClatchy.
