Associate Professor of Political Science at Temple University, and Director of the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program.  Author of 'The Ethics of Transracial Adoption' (2002), 'Beyond Trans: Does Gender Matter?' (2017) and 'Building Gender-Inclusive Organizations: The Workbook', which offer practical guidance to individuals and organizations on how to develop trans-inclusive administrative policies that are institutionally smart.  Formerly with University of Wisconsin - Madison.
