Labour Party Member of Parliament for Wellington Central since 2008, and Deputy Prime Minister since 2020.  Finance Minister since 2017.  Formerly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.  Has unsuccessfully run for leadership of his party on several occasions.
