Sheriff for Hamilton County, Ohio who was elected in 2020 after she alleged she was fired as Major of the jail and court services because she is a woman and a lesbian by her predecessor.  named local and regional “Law Enforcement Officer of the Year”, and was honored by the Ohio House of Representatives for being named the 2016 Public Citizen of the Year by the Ohio Chapter of NASW.
