Lawyer.  Author of his autobiography 'A Dutiful Boy: A Memoir of a Gay Muslim’s Journey to Acceptance' (2020, Lambda Literary Award).  Trustee of Stonewall.  A regular commentator on Sky News, he also writes for CNN Style, Bustle, Mr Porter and Newsweek and was recently listed in The Lawyer Magazine Hot 100.
