Film, television and theatre actor.  Appeared in the soap opera Another World (1987-1991, Emmy Award), the television shows Men in Trees and Hung.  Appeared in the movies 'Donnie Brasco' (1997), 'Wag the Dog' (1997), 'Six Days, Seven Nights' (1998), 'Cedar Rapids' (2011), and 'My Friend Dahmer' (2017).  Theatre appearances included 'Twentieth Century'.  Author of her memoir 'Call Me Crazy' (2001).  Former partner of [[Ellen DeGeneres]].  Died in a car crash.
