Books include 'Beneath the Western Slopes' (1987), 'Birthmarks' (1990), 'Gods Peculiar Care' (1991), 'The Lost Oasis' (1995), 'The Reincarnation of Linda Lopez' (2003), and 'The Laboratory of Love' (2013).  Short story collections include 'Love Is Starving for Itself' (1994) and 'The Truth About Love' (2001).  The LGBTQ themes in Birthmarks have made it an important milestone in the history of LGBT literature in Canada.
