Film and theatre producer.  Received an Academy Award for Best Picture for 'American Beauty' and earned additional Best Picture nominations for 'Milk' and 'Silver Linings Playbook'. Serves as co-chair of the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities. Producer of Netflix's television show 'Rustin' about the life of [[Bernard Rustin]].  Producer of the Academy Awards television show, and Pushing Daisies.  Received the Tony for Best Play in 2020 for co-producing 'The Inheritance', and was Tony-nominated for co-producing 'Slave Play'.
