Bookseller and author, and owner of the bookstore 'La Maison des Amis des Livres', a gathering place for international writers.  Founded the French language review 'Le Navire d'Argent' and 'Gazzette des Amis des Livres'.  Partner was fellow bookstore owner [[Sylvia Woodbridge Beach]].
