Former member of the Missouri State of House of Representatives, 1975-1982, who also served as the first female majority leader in the nation.  Partner is fellow politician [[Diane Sands]].  Went on  to serve on the Missoula County Commission (1982-1994) and county chief administrative officer (1999.
