==Description==

Novelist, playwright and photographer.  Notable for his photographs of celebrities and public figures.  Author of the books Les Résidences Secondaires (1969), Le Passé composé (1971), La Tête la première (1972), Balthazar, fils de famille (1985, Grand prix des lectrices de Elle), Sur un air de fête (1990), Les Femmes du métro Pompe (2006), and Johnny Dasolo (2008). along with several art and photography books.  His plays include Hôtel du lac (1975), Nous ne connaissons pas la même personne (1978), and 
Je ne t'ai jamais aimé (2000).  Was tried and convicted of abusing the elderly and wealthy heiress Liliane Bettencourt.
