Modernist poet, often with a queer bent.  Associates his sexuality with his vocation as a poet.  Notable for 'The Bridge', where the Brooklyn Bridge is central to the poem.  Other notable poems include 'Chaplinesque' and 'Lachrymae Christi' and 'For the Marriage of Faustus and Helen'.
