Physician who specialized in the area of sexuality, co-authoring the first medical textbook on homosexuality 'Sexual Inversion' (1897).  Also studied the Transgender phenomenon.  President of the Galton Institute.  Was married to lesbian [[Edith Lees]].  Prolific author on the subject.
