Jewellery designer known as JAR, notably of high-end luxury women's jewellery (brooches, earings, necklaces) with a unique creative flair.  Retrospective exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum, New York, 'Jewels by JAR', 2013-2014.  Often called the greatest jeweler living today.  Lives in Paris where he operate his studio on an appointment-only basis.  Also known as Joel Arthur Rosenthal.
