Associate Professor, Institute for International Economic Studies at Stockholm University.  Researcher at the University of Oslo.  Research Affiliate of the Centre for Economic Policy Research, and a Research Fellow of the IZA Institute of Labor Economics.  Research focuses broadly on macroeconomics with a particularl interest in housing, household debt and default, and labor market dynamics. Member of the Editorial Board and Managing Editor of the Review of Economic Studies, an Associate Editor at the Journal of the European Economic Association and Macroeconomic Dynamics.
