Author of LGBT novels, including 'En l'absence des hommes' (1999, winner of the Prix Emmanuel Roblès), 'Son Frere' (2001, which was made into a film and received the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2003), 'Un homme accidental' (2008), his autobiographical novel which details the travails of growing up homosexual in provincial France 'Arrête Avec Tes Mensonges' (Stop With Your Lies, 2017), and 'Lie With Me' (2019).
