Notable books include 'Kitchen Boy' (2003), 'Closet' (1995, Lambda Literary Award) and 'Outburst' (1998, Lambda Literary Award).  Has also written for television, as well as children’s fiction, and mystery games.  Also known as R. D. Zimmerman.
