Television and theatre actor.  Notable for his roles in the television shows 'Cheers' and 'The West Wing'.  Theatre roles include the play 'The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby' (Tony Award).  Artistic Director of the Williamstown Theatre Festival (2004-2007).  Partner was playwright [[Rick Elice]].
