Poet and author of the collection 'Rock/Salt/Stone' (2017, Lambda Literary Award).  Performance artist.  Author of the book 'Island Bodies: Transgressive Sexualities in the Caribbean Imagination' (2015). associate professor of English at Brooklyn College.  Teaches courses in Caribbean and African literature, creative writing, sexuality, performance, and immigrant literature.
