Producer of theatre shows such as 'Les Miserables', 'Miss Saigon', 'Oliver' and 'Cats'.  Patron of The Food Chain, a London-based HIV charity.  He started the theatre group Delfont Mackintosh Theatres in 1991 which owns eight London theatres.  He was knighted for his service to theatre in 1996.
