Nephew of slain politician [[Harvey Milk]] who has carried on with global LGBTQ activism and is co-founder of the Harvey Milk Foundation, acting as its President of the Board of Directors.  Political activist for the Democratic Party.  Columnist and commentator for various newspapers and media outlets.  Board member of numerous human rights, LGBT rights and youth advocacy organizations including the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER), Equality California, International Conference on Disadvantaged Youth, the Coalition for Workforce Solutions, and the International Committee for Minority Justice and Equality.
