Description
Transgender member, President’s Commission on White House Fellowships (2015), an organization which considers applications for fellowships to the White House, which gives graduates opportunities to work as special assistants to high-level politicians and gain experience of leadership and government. Civil rights lawyer and legal director of the National Centre for Lesbian Rights. Lead counsel for same-sex couples in the landmark California marriage equality case.
