Popular music critic, journalist, record producer for numerous top-ten albums. Talent Agent with Profile Talent Management. Former host of the music show 'Countdown' (1974-1987). Recipient of the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Award for "Special Achievement" (1993), and the "Ted Albert Award" (1994) at the Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA) Awards. Appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (1986). Member, ARIA Hall of Fame (2014).
