Description
Medical Director of the Terrence Higgins Trust since 2007 and a sexual health and HIV consultant at King’s College Hospital. The UK's first National Advisor on LGBTI Health, appointed in 2019, advising on health services for LGBT patients on the National Health Service (NHS) and advise on how to tackle inequality in the healthcare system. Clinical lead of the South East London Sexual Health Network and also chairs their training partnership. Michael has also worked on specific projects in an advisory capacity for BHIVA, BASHH, the RCP, NHS England and the Department of Health.
