Painter, principally of landscapes in a surreal style. Writer and art critic for the Daily Telegraph newspaper (1952-54). Taught at The National Arts School (1956-1962) and The King's School, Parramatta, and presenter on the television show 'Children's Hour' (1956-1962). Lived in Italy from 1956 onwards.
