Description
Stage, film and theatre actor. Made his stage debut in 1945 as Floris in Mayor of Stylmond at the Popular Theater. Known for his performances in 'gdziekolwiek jestes...panie prezydencie' (1978), 'Zezowate szczescie' (1960) and 'Zamach stanu' (1980). Began work as a journalist and theatre critic in 1980. Wrote obituaries for actors and directors and became renowned for his remembrances of the deceased, and has published five books on the entertainment industry and its people. A distinguished member of the Association of Polish Stage Artists (1999), and the received the Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (2015) for his contributions to culture and the arts.
