Motivational speaker and Specialist, Athlete Preparation and Mentoring with the Canadian Olympic Committee. Former member of the Canadian rowing team, winning three gold medals (1992(2), 1996) and a bronze medal (1996) from Olympic rowing competitions and is Canada’s most successful Summer Olympic athlete. Member, Canadian Sports Hall of Fame (1997). Ambassador for Right to Play, Fast and Female, and Plan Canada’s Because I am a Girl initiative. Author of the book 'The Power of More'. Recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal (1997), and Officer of the Order of Canada (2013). Recipient of a 2015 Bonham Centre Awards.
