President, University of Southern Maine since 2012. Former Professor and served as Philosophy Department Chair and faculty union president at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. Former President of the University of Maine at Farmington (1994-2012). In 2001 was inducted to the Maine Women’s Hall of Fame. Member, the LGBTQ Presidents in Higher Education.
