Notable works include 'Everything Begins and Ends at the Kentucky Club' (2012) which won a PEN/Faulkner award, and his book of poems 'The Book of What Remains' (2010). Lambda Literary Awards for Gay Male Fiction for 'Everything Begins and Ends at the Kentucky Club' and Children’s/Young Adult for 'Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe'.
