Description

Poet, Novelist, Politician. Views evolved towards fascism in the 1930s. Bonnard was one of the ministers of National Education under the Vichy regime, for which he was expelled from the Academie Francaise, tried and convicted to 10 years in prison. Lived in exile in Spain.
