ABC News Foreign Correspondent. Former War reporter for BBC, specializing in reporting from Syria and the Middle East since 2012. When in the UK, works as a general news reporter for the Victoria Derbyshire show on BBC2 and BBC News. Mental health activist. Nominated for the Royal Television Society 2016 Young Talent of the Year award. Produced a documentary on the persecution of the LGBTQ community in Chechnya (2019).
