Description

Co-founder and co-director of The Lesbian Project (2023). Feminist activist and philosopher. Contributing writer at Unherd, a Founding Faculty Fellow at UATX, and the author of 'Material Girls: Why Reality Matters for Feminism' (2021). Until October 2021, she was a Professor of Philosophy at University of Sussex - her views on gender and transgender rights caused public controversy and she resigned. Awarded an OBE for services to higher education in 2020.
