Description
Transgender New Democratic Party member of the Manitoba Provincial Legislature since 2023. The first transgender individual elected in Manitoba and possibly Canada. Formerly a juvenile correctional officer and a youth counsellor at the Manitoba Youth Centre. Unsuccessfully ran in the 2022 by-election for the Winnipeg riding of Kirkfield Park. Awarded the Manitoba 150 medal in recognition of his advocacy for the trans community (2021).
