Description
Psychiatrist and resident at NYU Medical Center. Public Psychiatry and LGBT Health Fellow in the LGBT Initiative of the Division of Gender, Sexuality, and Health at Columbia University Medical Center. Research focusses on mental health and resilience in LGBT populations, especially those with limited resources. Also focused on education and wide dissemination of knowledge about LGBT health, both within LGBT communities and amongst health care providers. Editor of the book 'Trans Bodies, Trans Selves' (2014) , which covers everything transgender. Associate Editor at the Journal of Gay and Lesbian Mental Health (JGLMH). Coordinator of health provider trainings at the Philadelphia Trans Health Conference and serves on the boards of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA) and the Association of Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists (AGLP).
