Description

Paralympic tennis player. Winner of the Olympic Silver medal at the 2024 Paris Games, and two Olympic Gold medals (singles and doubles) at the 2020 Tokyo Games. 42-time major champion, having won a record 23 titles in singles and 19 in doubles. Winner at Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, the Australian Open, and the French Open. Achieved the calendar-year Grand Slam – claiming all four majors in a season – three years in a row beginning in 2021, and in 2021 she achieved what is known as ‘The Golden Slam’ with her Olympic Gold medal.
