Founder of Quark, a computer software and graphics development company. Founder/chair of Gill Action Fund, an LGBT rights advocacy fund (Foundation of the Year - 2004). He has been reported as the single largest donor to LGBTQ causes in the United States. Recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom (2025).
