Description
President & CEO, American Academy in Rome since 2013. Executive Director of the International Center of Photography (2012-2013). Former dean of Syracuse University's School of Architecture and senior adviser on architecture and urban initiatives at the University (2004-2012). Former Curator of Architecture at the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, Ohio (1993-1999), and Director of Design for the National Endowment for the Arts (1999-2002). His photography is on permanent display in many museums around the world. Recipient of the Rome Prize from the American Academy in Rome.
