Recipient of three Juno Awards: Best New Solo Artist (1996), Instrumental Artist of the Year (1997), and Best Roots & Traditional Album - Solo for his album 'Hi, How Are You Today' (1996). Noted for his eccentricities and bravado on stage and in person. Author of his autobiography 'Fiddling with Disaster' (2003).
