Description
Former Executive Director, Immigration Equality, which advocates for equal immigration and asylum rights for LGBT and HIV-positive individuals into the United States. Lawyer. Represented immigrant clients at the Legal Aid Society, and served as a law clerk in the Southern District of New York. Before becoming an attorney was a reporter for Bloomberg Business News and a member of Lambda Legal’s media team. Graduate of Columbia Law School and Harvard-Radcliffe College. In 2012, received Columbia’s Public Interest Law Foundation Achievement Award, and was named one of the Advocate’s 40 Under 40.
