Description
Track & Field coach at the University of Texas. Resigned when it was revealed she was having a relationship with her student, hurdler Raasin McIntosh. Six national titles and five Coach of the Year awards in indoor and outdoors. Pioneer at the University of Texas, as the first black woman head coach the university hired, in 1992. Founded the Pursuit of Dreams (POD) Foundation (2006), committed to reconnecting and assisting individuals with their life’s purpose, passions, and dreams. Also known as Beverley Kearney.
