Description
Chief Justice of the Cherokee Nation Supreme Court since 2020. As only the third woman and first LGBT+ Supreme Court Justice Shawna acts as a role model for two-spirited citizens of all ages, and for the Nation’s young women. Prior to her confirmation on the Supreme Court, Shawna served as a Gaming Commissioner on the Cherokee Nation Gaming Commission.
